A few days ago we told you where you can buy kimchi in America, but we have also explained how you can kimchi at home, a Korean dish of the most famous in gastronomy. Now, today we are going to tell you how you can give another life to this famous dish and get an awesome soup.
I know that sometimes it frightens a little this of being tasting a meal so different from the traditional one used to prepare our grandmothers at home, it is a reality. But, until one proves it and enjoys it a few times, it does not really realize what it was missing; So I encourage you all to break those barriers and open up to Korean cuisine.

- 3 Pieces of Kimchi
- 150 Gr of Tofu
- 1/2 Gochujang Hot Pasta spoon
- 100 gr of Pancetta “Samgyubsal”
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 onion
- Sesame oil
First of all we will chop the kimchi, the onion in julienne, the garlic in tiny and the bacon in thick slices.
In a saucepan we throw these three ingredients together with the pasta of hot pepper, the hot pepper and sugar.
Then we cover all the ingredients with water and put it in the fire for 10 minutes, at first we will put it on strong fire but as soon as it boils, we put it on low heat for 15 minutes more.
Slice the tofu and add it to the pan, cook for 5 minutes and remove from the fire, pour a splash of sesame oil and serve.
