The seafood casserole is a sensational dish, so much so that in different countries it is reserved for special days like the New Year’s Eve dinner. We present a seafood recipe with which to enjoy enormously.


A simple recipe of seafood casserole to enjoy with good company, being able to choose the different shellfish that compose it according to tastes and economy. Among the best known seafood we can mention: cockle, mussels, clam, shrimp, oyster, lobster, prawn, spider crab, squid, etc.


When it comes to buying shellfish it is essential to go to places of confidence and to know the level of conservation that has followed. It is not the same to buy fresh seafood that is frozen, both for the quality of the same as the way of cooking them.



Seafood Casserole: Ingredients

Ingredients for 4 portions


  • 600 GRS of shellfish without its leaflets (cockle, mussels)
  • 2 tbsp.. Olive oil Soups
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small green pepper cut into strips
  • 1 red pepper boy cut into strips
  • 1 small yellow pepper cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp.. Chopped chives Soups
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 chopped onions

Seafood Casserole: Preparation


Wash the shellfish very well, drain them and place them in a bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper to taste and cover with film paper. Reserve them in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.


Add the oil in a saucepan and bring to a fire, add the garlic and onions and cook to a simmer. Incorporate the shellfish and cook for a few minutes.


Pour the peppers, cover and continue cooking for about 10 minutes.


Sprinkle with chives before removing and serving in casseroles.
