Yes, we have to recommend that you notice what types of vegetables you are preparing to combine well the flavors and textures of them. Think that if you make only vegetables with a high water content the texture will be very different than if you combináis with vegetables like mushrooms that are more duritos.

There are many ways and combinations to make some vegetables in the oven, from taking into account the flavors and textures, to the different seasonings that you can already include in the preparation or to reserve them for later.

 

One of the most common ways we have to prepare them at home is including the vegetables that we present to you.

Preparation of baked vegetables – step by step

 

The first thing we’re going to do is wash all the vegetables and then dry them with a cloth.

 

If you want to cut them, it’ll be the perfect time to do it. For example, the aubergines in not too thick slices, the zucchini sliced, the peppers you can put them in half by removing the Nuggets or prepare them in sheets.

 

In an oven dish, pour a splash of oil, place the vegetables. You can insert the tray as it is in the oven (it is as we have done) or you can also cover them with baking paper.

 

When you have them put some salt on top and you can spices with some of the herbs that we have indicated before, either a little oregano, thyme or basil. These spices are sensational with vegetables and the touch of garlic is also going to be fascinating.

 

It will depend on each oven and whether the vegetables you like al dente or very soft, but you will have to leave it between 30 and 40 minutes at 180 º.

 

When we present it, we have given it another touch of salt but with flakes of salt to the rosemary, a puntazo of contrast of texture and enhancer of the flavor.

Another recipe for baked vegetables – ingredients

  • 100 Gr of Chard
  • 100 Gr of spinach
  • 100 gr of green beans
  • 100 g of broccoli
  • 100 Gr of Corn

  • 3 carrots
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 red pepper
  • Olive oil in quantity needed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparing another recipe for baked vegetables – step by step

Before you get your hands on this recipe, the first thing you know is that you have two ways to prepare it.
In case you have little time to dedicate to this dish, the best thing you can do is a previous step: boil all the vegetables (except the spinach and the chard that are made in less time) once you have washed them well. The cocéis for about 10 minutes, the Retiráis and we pass to place them on a container suitable for the oven with a little olive oil and until they take the point that you like.
If you have enough time, I recommend you cook everything directly in the oven. This way, less vegetable properties are lost and the flavor is kept more. For everything to be cooked evenly it should be cut in smaller sizes, more or less similar, especially potatoes, carrots and broccoli. Pour some olive oil on top and season to taste before taking them to the oven for 40 minutes at 180 º.

Oven-Baked vegetable sauces

After mentioning on several occasions that these baked vegetables can be combined with different dressings and sauces, we could not leave you half.
You can combine it with a Neapolitan sauce (tomato, onion, garlic, carrots and some spices), green sauce, aioli sauce, baked vegetables with antique mustard or even a cheese sauce.
