How to make Baked Potato Cream – step by step

First of all, peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. If you have a kitchen mandolin or grater with a laminate section, it’s going to be the perfect tool to get all your potatoes to be the same thickness and fine, which is going to be perfect for this dish.
In an oven dish, pour a few drops of oil to grease the entire surface and, if you feel like flavoring it a little more, put freshly ground black pepper and nutmeg on the base. Then, you can put the potatoes as you go with them and keep especiándolas if you want a more eye-catching dish, but to throw a little salt over each layer is enough.

In a bowl pour the liquid cream and you can combine it with a tablespoon of cream cheese or grated Gruyère cheese. Stir well, pour the salt with the black pepper (the latter if you have not been using it in each layer) and once it is well integrated, you dump it over the potatoes.
You can put another layer of cheese over the cream to bake or put a few pieces of butter.
You put it in the preheated oven at 200 º for 45 minutes, if you see that you burn the top layer before the potatoes are made, you can put some aluminum foil on top. To check that the potatoes are made, you just have to prick them with the tip of a knife and see if they are tender or not.
Once you are ready, let stand a few moments before serving and then attack!
